Footsteps Dance Company!

Today Kate from Footsteps Dance Company came to school and taught us a dance. We loved dancing together and can't wait to show our moves off to our families and friends!!

Clay Modeling

We were very lucky today! Two lovely ladies from the Dowse Art Museum came and helped us make Christmas Decorations out of clay! We loved the feeling of the clay on our hands and are enjoying our final result! We can't wait to be able to put them on our Christmas Tree! 

All Saints Mass

We had our class Mass on All Saints today. We had a beautiful time with Father Pat O'Shea and Barbara. Father has just had his 40th Jubilee! Wow!

Please help us to look after our school community. Help Ms. Buckley and the teachers to be good examples for us. Help us to try even when it gets hard.

After Mass we did Yellow Hat and Black Hat thinking about the positives from Mass and our advice for next time. 

                    

Sharing our Maths Learning

Today we shared our learning with each other. 

In Maths we have been doing Statistics, and going through the statistical enquiry process. We developed a question, collected and sorted data, displayed our findings in a bar and line graph and today we shared our findings with a partner.

News Reports

We are starting to look at News Reports in Room 3. Our theme for the term is 'Story Telling'. So we are telling our story of 'A day in the Life of Room 3' through News Reports. 

We needed to know what a News Report was first. We watched some videos and gave positives and negatives using the Yellow and Black Hats. Here is our favourite one...

Then, our crazy teachers, Mrs Brown and Miss Kirkland did a News Report in front of us. They were very silly and we gave them advice to not act like kids.

Football in Schools

We have enjoyed our Football in Schools this term! We have learnt how to dribble the ball and play football matches.

Duffy Play

We had a Duffy Play come in today to tell us all about how cool books are and why we should read them. Everyone was laughing! 

Commonwealth Games Song!

In Term 3, Room 3 learnt about the Commonwealth Games. We watched and rapped this rap each day to start off our writing.
